It is most important to gain adequate knowledge about road test rules and regulations that driver need to implement while driving. Before heading towards the road test, make sure you have complete practical and theoretical knowledge of driving a vehicle. My Way Academy Driving School in Calgary assists people in learning or brushing their driving skills. Our experienced driving instructors are committed to render you a quality services along with complete driving information.
Before booking appointment for the road test, make sure you properly understand the following points:
- The commercial and non-commercial road tests require prior booking of appointment and in case you want to cancel the appointment, it must be done 48 hours before the test.
- Fee for all sort of road tests is non-refundable.
- Road test permits are valid for complete one year from the date of issuance.
- In case, you lost your road test permit, you may get a new one after paying US $:15.50 as a fee. after the issuance of new road test permit, the older one will be canceled and will not remain valid.
- If you couldn’t make the test at the scheduled date or time, you may re-book the test within 48 hours of the next exam. Make sure that you re-book the road test within the validity period of the road test permit.
- In case you fail to appear for the road test, it will result to cancellation of your road test permit leading to forfeiting of the fee.
Things to Remember on the day of road test:
- Make sure you arrive 15 minutes before the road test and check in to the relevant office quickly.
- Show your valid road test permit.
- Produce the copies of other relevant I. Ds as well.
- Provide the vehicle class for which you are undergoing the road test.
- On commercial vehicles, CVIP sticker must be affixed.
- If you are using a rented car, make sure to take the copy of rental agreement along.
- No companions are allowed to sit in the vehicle while road test.
- Before issuance of license, don’t forget to provide copies of I.D. to conform to the formalities.
